What does the money go towards?

Operating Expenses
CJUC’s core operating budget is only $5,700 / year.  Your donations go towards rent, insurance, internet, and administration – the minimum required to keep the studio running and the signal broadcasting.

Revenue
CJUC’s revenue comes from a mix of community donations and local advertising, which together make up the majority of our income.  We also earn a small amount from record sales and merchandise, helping our support our volunteers and local music programming.
